Continuous concrete landscape borders are a growing trend in residential landscape and are now available in southern middle Tennessee from Thurman Lawn Care. This unique process allows a continuous concrete curb to be formed on the job site. During installation, a 9 inch strip of sod is removed outlining the path of the new border. Because the concrete is extruded, it can follow the curved lines of the existing landscaping without disturbing shrubs or plants.
Landscape borders do not look like typical street curbing. A wide array of colors and patterns are available to blend with any existing landscaping. Concrete borders are more durable than plastic, metal, or wood, and provide a barrier that keeps grass and weeds from creeping into the landscaping. The heavy concrete also keeps landscape mulch or rocks from washing into the yard.
In most cases, these concrete curbs can be installed in one day. You have instant curb appeal!
