Photography

Photography is the process of making pictures by means of capturing light on a light-sensitive medium, such as a sensor or film. Light patterns reflected or emitted from objects are recorded onto a sensitive medium or storage chip through a timed exposure. The most common process is done through mechanical, chemical or digital devices known as cameras.

There are many different types of photography today including black and white, color, and digital. Black and white photographs dominated for some time because of its cost-effectiveness. Once color costs dropped black and white became a minority photography method. With computers becoming so popular, digital photographs are dominating. Digital images can be transferred back and forth between many people at little or no cost. Also, you can view digital images without even developing them. Digital images can be altered with computer programs to the users liking. Digital imaging does raise some concerns though to the validity of the actual photo.
