Kitchen

Kitchen are the focal point of many homes throughout the U.S. Homeowners can make kitchens unique with special faucets, sinks or accessories. Cabinets also spice up a kitchen, and can be matched with wallpaper, countertops, flooring, etc. A kitchen is a room used for food prep and possibly entertainment. Modern kitchens are often equipped with a stove and microwave oven and have a sink with water on tap for cleaning food and dishwashing. Modern kitchens also feature a dishwasher. Some installations to store food usually also are present, either in the form of an adjacent pantry or more commonly cabinets and a refrigerator.

Kitchens vary in size. Some kitchens have islands in the middle for additional space and storage. Large kitchens contain tables for dining, although some floor plans attempt to present food outside of the kitchen area. These plans often contain actual dining rooms for a more formal presentation of the food.
