Graphic design individuals have a unique niche in the marketing world. These designers have a blend of aesthetic and cognitive abilities. With many aspects of business turning towards the Internet today, graphic designers hold an important role to making companies stand out from their competition.

Designers dealing with graphics on the web are involved with the “form” aspect of the web pages, not the “functional.” Graphic designers can assist with page layout, but do not necessarily care about how the pages work. This, however, can sometimes conflict with what programmers able to complete from a functionality stand point. It is often beneficial if graphics designers and programmers get together periodically to stay within scope of a web project.
