Driveways refer to private roads used to access one or more homes or buildings. Driveways are owned by either one more individuals with a specific interest. Some individuals have "Private Drives," and the homes or business are usually set further away than normal from a main access road.In contrast to public roadways, driveways can be personalized. Driveways can be customized with various types of surfaces being used. Some individuals use concrete, blacktop, gravel, brick, or even cobblestone. The amount invested by the owner is depends on their financial situation and use of the driveway. Driveways are not maintained by the city.
Most driveways lead up to a house or garage structure. Some houses have turnaround driveways that loop in front of the house. This helps to alleviate being blocked in. Driveways keep many streets free of traffic. There are some streets that do not allow individuals to park on them from certain times. This is often due to rush hour traffic.
